Recovery & Wellness Liability Waiver

Acknowledgment of Physical Condition: By booking a session, I confirm that I am in good physical health and do not suffer from any condition that would make the use of infrared saunas, cold water immersion, or electrical muscle stimulation (EMS) dangerous or harmful to me.

​

Specific Contraindications: I acknowledge that I should consult a physician before use if I:

• Are pregnant or think I may be pregnant.

• Have a history of heart disease, high/low blood pressure, or circulatory issues.

• Have a pacemaker or other implanted medical devices (essential for EMS).

• Have open wounds, skin infections, or recent surgical incisions.

• Are under the influence of alcohol or drugs.

Assumption of Risk: I understand that Infrared Saunas involve intense heat and Cold Plunges involve extreme cold. I am aware of the risks, including but not limited to dizziness, fainting, or thermal stress. I assume full responsibility for my own safety and will exit the facilities immediately if I feel unwell.

Release of Liability: I hereby release Restore Recovery and Wellness Tamworth and its staff from any and all claims, liabilities, or expenses resulting from my use of the facilities, except in cases of gross negligence.

Business Terms of Service

​

1. Booking & Cancellation Policy: We require at least [4] hours notice for any cancellations or rescheduling. Cancellations made within this window or "no-shows" will forfeit the full session fee or be charged a $25 fee.

​

2. Late Arrivals: Your session time is fixed. If you arrive late, your session will still end at the scheduled time to ensure the next client is not delayed. No partial refunds will be given.

​

3. Facility Cleanliness & Hygiene:

• Sauna: A towel must be used on the benches at all times.

• Cold Plunge: Users must shower prior to immersion to maintain water quality.

• Compression: Clean socks/clothing must be worn during use.

​

4. Respect for Privacy: Our Contrast and Sauna suites are private. We expect all clients to respect the space and leave it in a tidy condition.

 

Any damage to equipment (e.g., Normatec boots, Sauna heaters) due to misuse will be the financial responsibility of the client.

5. Age Requirement: Users must be at least 16 years of age. Those under 18 must have a parent or guardian sign the initial waiver.
